Once you've identified the three or four security companies you want to consider, you'll want to invite a representative from each company to evaluate your home and make a recommendation.
		Let the representative explain everything about their system, how they recommend you protect your home, and finally, ask them to provide a written list of the equipment you'll require. A contract will generally be required.  Get a copy of the contract and read it thoroughly before you sign it.  Don't forget to read the back too. Compare the prices between all the companies over a three-year span, including monitoring costs.
